DAVIDsTEA Inc. said its stock has been accepted for listing on the TSX Venture Exchange and its common shares will begin trading on the TSXV on April 3 in Canadian dollars under the ticker symbol DTEA.
The stock was halted at 81 cents a share in Nasdaq in premarket trading Monday. Shares are expected to trade on both the TSXV and Nasdaq from April 3 to April 14 and to cease trading on the Nasdaq, from a voluntary delisting, at the close of markets on April 14.
Shareholders will not be required to exchange their share certificates or take other actions in connection with the TSXV listing, as there won't be a change in the trading symbol or CUSIP for the shares, the Montreal-based North American tea merchant said.
