13 new coronavirus cases bring Larimer County tally to 2,279 - Loveland Reporter-Herald

Larimer County reached 2,279 total coronavirus cases on Sunday, adding 13 residents who tested positive for the virus.

The Larimer County Department of Health and Environment keeps a cumulative tally of possible and confirmed coronavirus cases on its website.

All 13 new cases were confirmed. Eleven are Fort Collins residents, ranging in age from 17 to 61. The remaining two new cases are a 55-year-old Loveland man and a 41-year-old Johnstown man.

The county on Sunday reported receiving 31 new cases in the previous 24 hours, which is listed as a high-risk factor. The daily reports reveal 19 cases on Saturday, 23 on Friday and 35 on Thursday.

The county also tracks suspect cases, which are people who test positive via an antibody test but did not show symptoms. This number remained unchanged on Sunday at 456.

Also unchanged are the number of deaths, 49, and outbreaks, 47, since March 9. Eight outbreaks remain active with 39 resolved.

Since March, the county is reporting 84,439 total tests conducted with an overall 3.4% positivity rate. During the past two weeks, however, the positivity rate was at 2.4%.
