ARLINGTON, Va. — POLITICO today announced the launch of Women Rule: The Exchange, a membership program that convenes and connects women in positions of leadership to unpack critical questions facing women across America as they shape our nation’s “new normal.”
Members in Women Rule: The Exchange include Business Leaders, senior executives selected by member organizations, and Impact Leaders, specialists from the worlds of research, academic, nonprofits and policy, who are invited to bring specific subject-matter expertise to the conversation. Inaugural member organizations of Women Rule: The Exchange include Bank of America, Cisco, CVS Health, GM, Northrop Grumman, Pfizer and Verizon.
“We’re thrilled to introduce Women Rule: The Exchange, the latest offering from POLITICO’s Women Rule franchise that empowers and connects women in leadership,” said Cally Baute, senior vice president at POLITICO. “Together with our inaugural members we aim to be a community that drives solutions.”
With the launch of Women Rule: The Exchange, members will have the opportunity to participate in quarterly meetings — which bring together our powerful Women Rule community of Business Leaders and Impact Leaders, in conversations led by POLITICO — to confront today’s most pressing challenges, sharing insights, best practices, and solutions from diverse perspectives. Women Rule: The Exchange will build on POLITICO's reporting about women, politics and policy that includes a weekly newsletter and new magazine journalism that will set the stage for the discussions.
“We are in a critical moment for women across America — and for decision-makers in both public and private sectors,” said Elizabeth Ralph, editor of Women Rule. “We look forward to holding robust discussions and sharing fresh insights with our readers.”
For eight years, POLITICO’s Women Rule franchise has brought together leaders in politics, policy, and the private sector to deepen public understanding of gender equity and to advance women’s leadership. Through a combination of incisive journalism, a weekly newsletter, high-profile events, and the connection of an influential community, Women Rule creates opportunities for women to advance their knowledge, networks, and leadership skills.
The first quarterly Women Rule: The Exchange meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 17. It will unpack the disproportionate impact Covid-19 had on women in the workforce and what businesses and policy makers need to do now to make sure they don’t waste this chance to rethink the future of work.
The meeting, and all quarterly meetings, will also include public discussions and newsmaker interviews. Register here to join.
