SUNDAY ABOUT SHOTS FIRED AT WEST BERNIE STREET WHEN OFFICERS ARRIVED ON SCENE WERE TOLD POLICE HEARD NUMEROUS SHOTS BEING FIRED IN THE AREA OF WALL STREET. POLICE THEN RESPONDED ON FOOT AND ENCOUNTERED MULTIPLE SUSPECTS. AND THE DEPARTMENT SAYS OFFICERS THEN EXCHANGED GUNFIRE WITH THOSE SUSPECTS BEFORE THEY FLED

Officers in Gaffney, South Carolina, exchanged gunfire with multiple suspects after a shots fired call Sunday morning, according to Gaffney police.
