STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — On the night that 38-year-old Tamer Shaarawy was shot and killed during a home invasion on the borough’s South Shore, it wasn’t just his family that was left reeling.
Moments after the woman convicted of orchestrating the robbery, 37-year-old Kaitlyn Reuter, was sentenced Thursday in state Supreme Court, St. George, her parents convened with Shaarawy’s family outside the courtroom.
