One of the biggest COVID-related change for Tuscumbia mother Meccosia Eggleston is not being able to visit family.
“Personally, having to adjust to a pandemic has changed my life significantly. One of the biggest changes was visiting and traveling with family. Not being able to visit extended family or go on family trips has been quite an adjustment.
After we emerge from the pandemic, I believe in my heart, that life will get back to the “new” normal. I believe that some will choose to continue to wear masks in certain places. I also believe that remote working will slowly begin to fade away. We will shake hands and hug one another again. How soon? I don’t know.
The pandemic has been a humbling experience for me. I have had mixed emotions at times because of not only the adjustments, but also the loss of so many people during this time. By faith, I am trusting that God will bring us through it and we will be stronger, more appreciative and better at adapting to life’s situations.”
