Spokane-based Exchange Publishing LLC, which publishes The Exchange weekly paper, has launched a Wenatchee and Moses Lake edition.
The new Moses Lake and Wenatchee edition, which publishes on Wednesdays, will be managed by Kristen Bryant, who oversaw Nickel Ads in Wenatchee and several other Target Media Partners publications, according to a company release.
Target Media Partners, owners of Nickel Ads and Nickel Saver, ceased publishing mid-March during the statewide stay-home order to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The decision to launch a weekly paper in Wenatchee and Moses Lake was fueled by demand, the company said.
“I am thrilled to have come full circle and be back in operation with a locally owned publisher,” Bryant said in a statement. “The Wenatchee/Moses Lake edition of the Exchange is going to fill the void in the marketplace and truly help connect the community with products, services, events and editorial content.”
The Exchange, founded in 1978, is distributed throughout Eastern Washington and North Idaho. It recently expanded into the Lewiston area following closure of the MoneySaver publication.
