MADISON-- (WKOW)-- Brooklyn Elementary School teachers Kelli Massey and Matt Fieck are bringing an element of surprise to their morning messages.
They are dressing up as different characters every morning of virtual learning. They have dressed in costumes such as Kermit the Frog, Batman, Boris the Viking, and much more.
"It just changes your mindset," Massey said. "It puts a positive spin on everything, and you don't look at things in a negative way."
Their 4th grade students are loving it.
"It has just made the world of difference from dragging our feet every day to jumping out of bed and ready to get started," 4th Grade Student's Mom Kelly Hook said.
"The little bit of effort that it takes us to do it, I think is way beyond worth it to put a smile on students' faces right away in the morning," Fieck said.
Parents need a little laugh as well.
"They have the energy to be that creative and come up with a different idea or costume, I don't know how they do it," Hook said. "It's so impressive."
