HIGH SCHOOLERS BACK ON THE ICE: Members of the West Genesee hockey team start practice on Monday at the Shove Recreation Center. There had been a lot of doubt whether high school teams across Section III would get such a chance this winter. After getting approval from the state and Onondaga County departments of health last week, West Genesee and other schools were cleared to draw up practice and game schedules and start planning for a season. “You can definitely see these kids are excited to be playing again with a little more normalcy,” said West Genesee hockey coach Frank Colabufo.
