Ledisi is one of the Bay Area’s best R&B vocalists, who has been nominated for a dozen Grammy Awards during a recording career that stretches back to 2000’s “Soulsinger: The Revival.”
Her best-known albums include 2009’s “Turn Me Loose” (which hit No. 1 on the R&B charts) and 2011’s “Pieces of Me” (which reached the overall top 10 on the Billboard 200).
Ledisi performs a big hometown show on Feb. 6 at the Fox Theater in Oakland. But she won’t be there alone.
The concert is part of a highly anticipated co-headlining tour with Gregory Porter.
The Sacramento native is one of the finest jazz singers in the business, having twice won a Grammy Award for best jazz vocal album. Porter first won the award in 2014 for “Liquid Spirit” and then again in 2017 with “Take Me to the Alley.”
Details: 7 p.m.; $49.50-$119.50; ticketmaster.com.
