The Vikings signed Britton Colquitt right before the 2020 season after he was released by the Browns.

It turned out to be the right move.

The 34-year-old veteran averaged 45.2 yards per punt and the folks over at Pro Football Focus graded Colquitt as the third-best punter in the entire NFL.

Colquitt’s contract is expired and he’ll be a free agent in 2020, but it makes all the sense in the world for the Vikings to bring him back, along with kicker Dan Bailey.

The team’s cap situation is tight, but both Colquitt and Bailey should be affordable enough for the team to bring them back.
