Boise booster organization says it still hopes to bring new jobs to area - boisedev.com

The Boise Valley Economic Partnership, which works to bring companies to the Boise area, says it still hopes to bring several prospects to town.

In a LinkedIn post, BVEP included a list of prospects it continues to work on – including call center, backoffice jobs and more.

“I want you to know that we are working hard on future jobs for our community and the people that live here,” BVEP director Clark Krause wrote on LinkedIn.

The post says the organization, known for its role in attempting to bring jobs to the area, hopes to hold ‘virtual site visits’ in coming weeks. It also details a number of companies it hopes to land:

  • Customer support project, approximately 1000 jobs, average wage unknown at this time
  • Manufacturing and testing project, 800+ tech jobs with an average wage $100k+
  • Back office project, 500 jobs
  • Back office project, 250-500 jobs, average annual wages unknown at this time
  • Headquarters expansion, 180 jobs, average annual wages unknown at this time
  • Back office project, number of jobs unknown at this time
